Artificial grass preparation may involve removing existing turf or unsuitable material, excavation where needed, a suitable sub-base and careful compaction. The laying direction, joins and edge detail should be planned for the shape of the area and the selected turf.
Drainage is dependent on the soil, falls, surrounding levels and design. It should be considered alongside the base and edging rather than assumed to work in the same way in every garden.
Practical Turf Maintenance
Artificial grass still needs sensible upkeep. Brush the surface when required, remove leaves and debris, and clean local marks with a product suitable for the turf. Follow the product guidance for routine care.

Boundaries, Posts and Supports
The customer should confirm the boundary and any access or neighbour arrangements before fencing work is specified. Post and support choices depend on the fencing system, ground conditions, levels and the loads the system is designed to handle.
Panel, closeboard and other garden fencing formats can be discussed according to the boundary and selected product. Gates are considered only where they are specifically requested and listed in the written scope.
Finish and Ongoing Care
Treatment or finish depends on the product selected. Maintenance should follow the supplier’s guidance and may include checking posts, panels, fixings and ground contact as the fence ages.

Artificial grass and fencing may be discussed together where access, sequencing or the planned garden layout makes that useful. The two scopes remain separate, so the quote will identify the turf work, fencing work and any preparation or removal items individually.
